At Social Services of Minnesota we provide peer support for people that are impacted by the justice system and their families recovering from substance use disorders.
We value the participation from the members in our groups involved in listening sessions, committee participation, outreach planning, and providing a voice to the individuals in the program. Our Tuesday night groups are a place where community members can come to provide input and help shape how we provide substance use services and develop activities that engage and empower.
We are proud of the positive impact we have made in the lives of the individuals we serve. Through our programs and services, we have helped countless individuals overcome adversity and achieve their goals.
Part of our mission is understanding that people we help are in all walks of recovery. This includes the beginning stages of use, those in active addiction, people that are wanting to know about recovery, and people who have already begun their recovery journey. Our focus is on meeting the individual where they are at.
If you are interest in volunteering, you can join us in activity participation, planning outreach, events, and system building. Please to send us a letter to our address or click the link below to DROP US A LINE.
